What Smells?

Who cleans the puke from the bathroom floor?

• The guy who did it.
• If you’re off campus you get one of your buddies to do it, and you know that you’ll do it for them later on.
  
• In residence, if you get sick and somebody cleans it up for you, you pay your monitor a fine to reinforce not to do it again.
  
• If you get home and you think you may be sick later on, put your garbage can next to your bed just in case.

How often do you clean?

• I never clean.
• Once a week.
  
• Some apartments have maids included in the rent (nice)
  
• Take turns every week.
  
• Try to make a schedule with everybody else.
  
• It’s a respect thing.

Laundry tips.

• Wait until you have a huge amount to do and do it all at once.
  
• When you run out of clean underwear, you need to do laundry.
  
• There’s facilities in the basement of every residence.
  
• Don’t pack your dryer too much or the stuff in the middle won’t get dry.
  
• For the dryer, put all the light clothes in one dryer and all your heavy clothes in the other, and put extra quarters in the heavy dryer.
  
• Keep an eye on it. Some people “shop”.
  
• Don’t put too much detergent in the machine.
  
• Check your pockets. You don’t want to run a twenty or your meal card through a spin cycle.
